1816, Lake Geneva: Byron dared his friends to write a ghost story, and Mary Shelley’s became Frankenstein. Her own 1831 account of that summer is in the book.

The printed books ship as five separate parcels and may arrive on different days. Ebooks have no shipping charge. US sales tax, if any, is shown before you pay. With tracked shipping, each book usually arrives about 3 weeks after you order in the US and about 4 weeks in Canada.

- We email you before its date. You can keep waiting, or cancel that book for a full refund of its share of your order; the other books aren’t affected.
- Can I buy one of the books on its own?
- Yes. Each book has its own page, linked above, where it is sold on its own and where you can read a sample.
- Do the five books come together in a case?
- No. They are five separate books in one matching design, each printed for your order and shipped in its own parcel.
- When do the books ship, and how long does delivery take?
- Each printed book ships within 14 days of your order, and each ebook is emailed within 5 days. Your confirmation email gives the exact dates for every book. With tracked shipping, a printed book usually arrives about three weeks after you order in the US and about four weeks in Canada. Because each book is printed and shipped on its own, they may arrive on different days. We sell and ship to the United States and Canada only.

- Yes. If a book might not ship within the time its format states, we email you first, and you can cancel that book for a full refund of its share.
