Deleting your data

You can ask Bookhawk Press, an imprint of Space Dog Tech LLC, to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This page explains what that covers and how to ask. Our privacy policy has the full details of what we collect and why.

How to ask

1. Email support@bookhawkpress.com with the subject "Delete my data".
2. Send it from the email address you used with us, or tell us that address and, if you have one, your order number.
3. If your request is about Facebook or Instagram, include your name as it appears there and, if you can, a link to the comment or message concerned.

To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on your orders before we delete anything. We'll reply within 30 days to confirm what we deleted and anything we had to keep, and why.

What we delete

• Your name, email address, shipping address and phone number.
• The emails we've exchanged with you.
• Any other personal information we hold about you that the law doesn't require us to keep.

If you have an order that hasn't been delivered yet, such as a pre-order, we'll ask whether you'd like us to cancel and refund it first, or to wait until it has been delivered.

What we have to keep

Tax and accounting law requires us to keep a record of each sale, such as what was sold, when, and for how much. We keep only what that law requires, for as long as it requires, and nothing else. Our payment processor (Stripe) and our printing partner keep their own records of the transactions they handled, under their own legal obligations. For our printing partner, that includes the name, shipping address, phone number and email address on your order.

We delete our web server logs after 30 days. Google Analytics data doesn't include your name, email address or postal address, so we can't find it by name; you can stop it being collected using the opt-out described in our privacy policy.

Facebook and Instagram

We use Meta's tools to run our Facebook Pages and our ads. We don't offer "Log in with Facebook", so our app never connects to your Facebook or Instagram account, won't appear in your Facebook "Apps and websites" settings, and doesn't collect personal information from your account.

If you comment on one of our posts or ads, or send one of our Pages a message, Meta stores that content. You can delete your own comments and messages on Facebook or Instagram at any time, or ask us to remove a comment from our Page. If we have copied anything from Facebook or Instagram into our own records, for example to help with an order, we'll delete it when you ask, as described above.
